LTStraipsnyje aptariama Lietuvos aukštojo mokslo reformos svarba, nacionalinių studentų sąjungų struktūriniai elementai ir teisinis reglamentavimas, analizuojami tiesioginiai ir netiesioginiai dalyvavimo būdai reformuojant aukštąjį mokslą. Galima išskirti šiuos pagrindinius nacionalinių studentų sąjungų dalyvavimo būdus aukštojo mokslo reformos sprendimų priėmime: dalyvavimas struktūriniuose padaliniuose, viešuose susirinkimuose, mitinguose, piketuose, eitynėse, rinkimuose, referendumuose, įstatymų leidybos iniciatyva ir lobizmas. Straipsnyje pabrėžiamas nacionalinių studentų sąjungų įsitraukimas ir nuomonės reiškimas atstovaujant studentų socialinei grupei. ENThe aim of this scientific article is to analyze the participation of National Unions of Students at the reforms of Lithuanian higher education system in 2011-2012. On this period of time, interests of Lithuanian students were represented by two national unions. 2011-2012 were fulfilled by the changes in the system of higher education and in a political sphere of higher education, for example the change of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania and the new Minister of Education and Science. This article provides the analysis of participation of two national unions of students at these reforms. The aim of this scientific research article is to analyse the methods of national unions of students, which were chosen in order to participate at the reforms of Lithuanian higher education system in 2011-2012. The methods of document collection and document analysis were used at this research. The article introduces the importance of reformation of Lithuanian higher education and explains the definition of lobbying at two National Unions of students. There are provided an analysis of the structures of National Unions, infrastructure of legal reglamentation, possibilities and obligations to influence reforms of higher education, and the most importantly – the right to submit proposals for the Seimas and the Government of Republic of Lithuania.The special attention is given to analyse the accurate cases and methods of participation in reforming the system of higher education. These cases are grouped into participation at stuctural units, elections, public meetings, processions, gatherings, referendums, initiations of law formation, direct and indirect lobbying. After the analysis of the methods in National Unions participation and on the basis of scientific researches, there was founded that the methods of participation of National Unions of students were based on lobbying, in order to influence the final decissions. These actions may be categorized by direct and indirect lobbying. Key words: union of students, reform of higher education, direct participation, indirect participation, lobbying.
