Aplinkosaugininkų praktikų požiūris į Utenos kolegijos neuniversitetinių studijų programoje "Aplinkosauga ir ekologija" įgyjamas kompetencijas

LTTyrimo tikslai: 1. Išaiškinti, ar tinkamas kompetencijas įgyja studentai, studijuodami „Aplinkosaugos ir ekologijos“ neuniversitetinių studijų programoje. 2. Išaiškinti, ar regione yra kraštovaizdžio apsaugos ir agroekologijos specializacijų aplinkosaugininkų poreikis. Tyrimo uždaviniai: L Nustatyti, ar kolegijos „Aplinkosaugos ir ekologijos“ studijų programos absolventų įgytos kompetencijos reikalingos dirbant įvairiose aplinkosaugos srityse: įmonėse, valstybiniuose parkuose, žemdirbių konsultavimo tarnybose, savivaldos struktūrose, ekologiškai ūkininkaujant ir konsultuojant ekologinių ūkių savininkus. 2. Nustatyti, koks poreikis ir kokios galimybės įsidarbinti kraštovaizdžio apsaugos ir agroekologijos specializacijų aplinkosaugininkams. 3. Surinkti įvairių sričių aplinkosaugininkų praktikų pasiūlymus dėl papildomų kompetencijų įgijimo. 4. Pagrįsti esamų specializacijų reikalingumą ar siūlyti naujas specializacijas. Tyrimo metodai Teoriniai: literatūros studijavimas pasirinktu aspektu, dokumentų analizė. Empiriniai: respondentų nuomonių išaiškinimas naudojant anketas [p. 80].

ENAt eight Lithuanian universities the following study programmes and their quantity are being realized: eight Environment Engineering; six Ecology and Environmental Studies; also three Landscape Architecture study programmes. The ratio of engineering and biomedical trend study programmes is similar at foreign and Lithuanian universities. However, at colleges only Environmental Studies and Ecology study programme of Utena College is of biomedical trend. Though nine colleges prepare specialists of Environmental Security are¹ but eleven study programmes of the twelve ones mentioned above are of the engineering trend in Lithuania. The first research aim was to state whether the competencies acquired in the study programme are necessary working as ecologists at the enterprises, state parks, controlling institutions, ecological households. The second research aim was to state if the specializations of Agroecology and Landscape Security are suitable for the region.The research results are the following: the majority of the acquired competencies are necessary and the graduates of Utena College, i.e. universal specialists of Environmental Security, will be able to work at the above mentioned institutions. The specialization of Landscape Security and Agroecology are suitable for the region. In order to meet better the needs of the labour market, it is recommended to introduce the following modules of Botany, Zoology, Total Quality Management and the specialization of Waste Management to the study programme additionally.
