ENThis article discloses the urgency of the Bible in the postmodern ages. The question is revealed as what could be the relation between the Holy Bible, and modem and postmodem literature. It is said that for ages the Bible remained as the source of God’s truth and knowledge of living. This article explains the influence of the Bible white teaching the Christian way of life, and analyses the reflections of true belief in Lithuanian literature and culture.
