ENWhen Lithuania became an independent state, most hospitals were operating in unsuitable buildings. Therefore, many new modern buildings for hospitals had to be built in various cities. However, the changes in hospital architecture during the interwar period still remain unexplored. Therefore, by analysing the key examples, the current article discusses the evolution of hospital buildings during the interwar Lithuania.
