ENThis paper examines processes of Armenian migration to the Ukrainian lands of Poland- Lithuania over the course of more than four centuries as well as legal procedures mandatory to pass through by newcomers. The causes of migrations, migrants’ motivation, and their integration into host societies, their social advance – or failure – are explored through a series of biographic sketches based, where possible, on a range of sources, broadly defined as ego-documents.
