Tyrinėjimai Šiltadaržio g. 4

LTVilniaus senamiestyje (A 1610K1), Šiltadaržio g. 4, buvo vykdomi archeologiniai tyrinėjimai. Jie vykdyti pastato viduje, jo centrinėje ir V dalyje, užsakovui norint atlikti pamatų tvirtinimo darbus, o vėliau planuojant įrengti rūsį [p. 215].

ENIn the old town of Vilnius (A 1610K1) at the Šiltadaržio Str. 4 archaeological investigations were performed. They were executed inside the building in its central and western parts. An area of 45 m2 was investigated. During the investigation it was established that the cultural layer was up to 83 cm thick. 3 to 5 horizons of the cultural layer were investigated; the sterile soil was reached at the depth of Hafe 94.62 m. 164 artefacts and 93 bones were collected. Household pottery and constructional ceramics comprised the major share of the finds. Besides that, an iron knife with a riveted handle, forged nails and a glass cup foot fragment were found. According to the household pottery and constructional ceramics found during the investigation the cultural layer would be datable to the 17th - early 19th century. Fragments of the brick wall found during the investigation would be datable to the 18th-19th century.
