ENThe paper is devoted to the sojourns of the Princes Radziwill’s at the French royal court from the 16th to the 18th century. It briefly looks at the journeys made by members of the family to see the person of the monarch, his family and court, and completed the political missions. All that fulfilled important prestige, ceremonial, political and educational aims. In view of this, it became important to present the rank and circumstances of the presentation of princes at court. A considerable part of the considerations was devoted to describing contacts between the French rulers and the Radziwills, and the honouring of the ducal title to the family representatives. This resulted in numerous privileges and endowments, which were a visible sign of respect for the Radziwills. Keywords: The Radziwills, journeys, royal court.
