ENIn 2006 field evaluation (38.75 m2 were excavated) and field survey (43.2 m2 were surveyed) were conducted in Vilnius at Kalvarijų St. 2. The earliest cultural layers in test pits 1 and 2 reach the turn of the 19th century. The remains of the foundation from a brick structure from that period were discovered at this location. In test pit 3 a disturbed burial from the second half of the 17th century was discovered. In test pit 7 the remains of a kiln were unearthed. The kiln was used in the late 17th – first half of the 18th century, probably during the construction of the Church of St. Raphael and the monastery. It was used to burn lime and fire construction pottery. In test pit 6 the contours of a burnt lime pit and the fragments of a structure’s foundation were recorded.
