Sudotos dvarvietė

LT2006 m. buvo tæsiami archeologiniai tyrinëjimai Sudatos kaime (Švenčionių r.), privačiame sklype, Sudatos ežero ŠV pakrantėje (kelio Švenčionėliai–Sariai P pusëje) (žr. ATL 2005 metais, V., 2006, p. 189). Tyrinëjimai vykdyti sklypo ŠV pakraštyje, kur 2005 m. žvalgomųjų tyrinëjimų metu vizualiai matomos ir topografiškai išsiskiriančios kalvos vietoje (anksčiau manyta, kad tai pilkapio liekanos) aptiktos buvusios dvarvietės sodybos priklausinių liekanos. 2006 m. ištirtos 4 perkasos (perkasa 3 – 3 x 10 m, perkasa 4 – 2 x 8 m, perkasa 5 – 2 x 12 m, perkasa 6 – 2 x 6 m dydžio), ið viso 82 m2 plotas [p. 221].

ENIn 2006 the excavations continued on a private lot in Sudata village on the NW shore of Lake Sudata (Švenčionys Dist.). The excavation was conducted on the NW edge of the lot where the remains of the former manor’s outbuildings were discovered during a field evaluation in 2005. A total area of 82 m2 was excavated. During the excavation, the remains of the manor’s former outbuildings were discovered in trenches 3–5 and the remains of clay stoves were identified. Sherds of glazed and unglazed thrown pottery, glass shards, stove tile sherds, and coins were discovered. Based on the ceramic finds and the coins, it is possible to date the cultural layer to the 16th–20th centuries.
