ENThis paper work analyzes the legal regulation of the right to work and working time in Lithuania and in other foreing countries. This paper focuses on the Lithuanian legislation and European Union directives regulated employer-employee relations between them, related to working time in Lithuania and other foreign countries. The legal regulation of working time is very important in today's society. Every worker has the right to work in line with the length of time for working time preferences. However, in today's society are increasingly confronted with exploitation in the workplace, it is a translation of the work agreed upon in the contract work for longer than it is required by law. To sum up, the legal regulation of working time is very important for the success of the employer-employee relationship between the development of productive labor, and hence the positive work atmosphere. In this case, the question arises whether the time is sufficiently regulated by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania? Does this regulation radically different from the other foreign countries.
