Summary / Abstract:

ENAccording to the International Labour Organization (ILO) report social security is a response to a cry for help. Social security also is one of the human rights which is established in Article 22 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This declaration sets that almost all countries accept this social security conception and everyone, as a member of society, has the right to social security. Mainly part of social security is pension (retirement) system, which provides income compensation for those who have reached a certain age, or those who interrupt their careers reached a certain age. In European Union there exist many pension system problems, which make an impact to social security and pension system for that reason the aim of this article is to find out existing pension system problems.
