Liubavo dvaras ir aplinka

LTArcheologiniai tyrinėjimai Liubavo buvusio dvaro sodybos teritorijoje nebuvo vykdyti iki 2009 m. 2009 m. KPIP VšĮ „Europos parkas“ užsakymu atliko šio dvaro sodybos teritorijos ir jos aplinkos (dviejų neaiškios paskirties objektų: spėjamos Liubavo piliavietės vietos ir senųjų kapinių vietos) žvalgomuosius archeologinius tyrinėjimus bei archeologinius tyrimus vandens malūno teritorijoje dėl čia planuojamų inžinerinių tinklų trasų ir pamatų hidroizoliacijos. Žvalgomieji archeologiniai tyrinėjimai Liubavo dvaro sodybos teritorijoje vykdyti norint patikslinti dvaro pastatų chronologiją ir buvusio užstatymo vietas, spėjamoje Liubavo piliavietės vietoje bei senųjų kapinių vietoje – siekiant nustatyti objektų kultūrinę vertę ir chronologiją. Jų metu ištirtas bendras 167,29 m2 dydžio plotas [p. 242].

ENIn 2009 an excavation was conducted on the grounds of the former Liubavas (Vilnius District) manor and in its vicinity. The investigation was conducted in 35 locations (6 trenches and 29 test pits with a total area of 268.04 m2) on the manor’s grounds. A 16th (?)–20th-century cultural layer was recorded at these locations and contemporary stove tile fragments and the foundations of late buildings found. Investigations were also conducted at two uncertain objects. 20 m2 was excavated on the hilltop of the suspected site of the Liubavas hillfort (on a small hill 150 m to the N of the boundary of the manor’s grounds) but no cultural layer or finds were discovered. Isolated human bones were found in the 4 m2 excavated at the site of the old cemetery on the flat top of the N hill (on a small hill about 20 m to the E of the boundaries of the former manor’s grounds).
