Moteriškos galvos įvaizdis XIX a. pabaigos-XX a. pirmosios pusės lietuvių pasaulėjautoje: stereotipo poveikis visuomenei : disertacija

LTRemiantis 1995 – 1999 metais autorės atliktų lauko tyrimų duomenimis, archyviniais šaltiniais, lietuvių liaudies folkloru, grožine literatūra, XX a. I pusės periodika bei publikuotais tyrimais, analizuojamas moteriškos išvaizdos etninis ir estetinis įvaizdžiai XIX a. pabaigoje – XX a. pirmoje pusėje. Žmogaus fizinę išvaizdą lemia antropologiniai ir kultūriniai požymiai, kurių kasdieniame gyvenime mes dažnai neišskiriame ir laikome žmonių etninės, tautinės įvairovės atspindžiais. Darbe aptariami antropologiniai ir socialiniai (kosmetika, šukuosena) išoriniai moteriškos išvaizdos bruožai. Susitelkiama į moters veido, plaukų, kitaip tariant galvos etninį ir estetinį idealą. Sugretinant antropologinius, etnografinius ir folkloro (liaudies dainų) duomenis siekiama išsiaiškinti idealios ir realios išvaizdos santykį. Nustatomas lietuvės etninės išvaizdos idealas bei išskiriami nepageidautini fiziniai bruožai. Kadangi moterų noras keisti savo ir savo vaikų prigimtinę išvaizdą buvo pagrįstas kasdienio kaimo gyvenimo estetika, nusistovėjusiais stereotipais, todėl darbe daug dėmesio skiriama fizinio moters grožio suvokimui kaimo kultūroje. Nagrinėjama kokią reikšmę išvaizdos stereotipas turėjo žmonių tarpusavio bendravimui bei etninio tapatumo raiškai skirtinguose socialiniuose sluoksniuose. Darbe plačiai aptariamos “kultūrinės priemonės“ naudotos norimam fiziniam įvaizdžiui sukurti ar nusistovėjusiam stereotipui palaikyti. Analizuojamas kaimo žmonių požiūris į kosmetiką ir ją naudojusias moteris. Pasitelkiant kaimiškoje kultūroje paplitusį higienos, sveikatos ir grožio suvokimą nustatomos jų tarpusavio sąsajos. ENAccording to the data of the field research performed by the author in 1995 – 1999, archive sources, Lithuanian folklore, fiction, press from the first half of the 20th century and publicised research, the technical and aesthetic images of the female appearance in the end of the 19th – the first half of the 20th century are analysed. Human physical appearance is determined by anthropological and cultural features which we do not distinct in our daily life, and consider them as reflections of the human ethnic and national reflections. The work discusses the anthropological and social (cosmetics, hairdo) external features of female appearance. It concentrates to the ethnic and aesthetic ideal of the female face and hair, in other words, to the image of her head. By comparing the anthropological, ethnographic and folklore data (folk songs), the author attempts to identify the relation between the idea and they real appearance. She determines the ideal appearance of an ethnical Lithuanian woman, and marks the undesired physical features. Women desire to change their and their children inherent appearance which is based on the aesthetics of daily rural life, the established stereotypes, and therefore great attention in the work is provided to the comprehension of physical beauty of a woman in rural culture. The work contains a wide discussion on “cultural tools” used for achievement of the desired physical image or for maintenance of the established stereotype. It analyses the cosmetics and women who used it; the concept of hygiene, understanding of health and beauty, and their mutual relations; the work contains the classification of folk cosmetics.
