Veisiejų dvaro sodyba

LT2013 m. gegužės–birželio mėnesiais atlikti žvalgomieji tyrimai Veisiejų buvusios dvaro sodybos fragmentų (UK 270) teritorijoje ir miesto istorinėje dalyje (UK 17121) (Lazdijų r.). Planuojamų smulkiosios turizmo infrastruktūros objektų (informacinių stendų) įrengimo darbų vietose ištirta 20 šurfų. Bendras tyrimų plotas sudarė 23,25 m2. Šurfai 1−6 tirti dvaro sodybos teritorijoje, parko V dalyje. Juose ankstyvesnių nei XX a. radinių ar kultūrinio sluoksnio pėdsakų nerasta. Šurfai 7−8 buvo tiriami dvaro sodybos teritorijoje, parko centrinėje dalyje, į P ir PV nuo dvaro rūmų fligelio. Abiejose šurfuose fiksuotas permaišytas kultūrinis sluoksnis, kuriame rasta XVI/XVII−XIX/XX a. datuojamų radinių. [...] [p. 233-235].

ENIn 2013, 20 test pits (a total of 23.25 m2) were excavated on the grounds of the former Veisiejai manor complex and in the historical part of the city of Veisiejai (Lazdijai district, S Lithuania). Test pits 7−8 contained 16th/17th–19th/20th centuries finds, test pit 19 brick fragments and isolated animal bones, test pits 14−16 16th/17th-20th centuries finds recorded in a mixed cultural layer, test pit 14 part of a 17th–18th century stove tile moulding, part of the handle of a black burnished pottery vessel, and a wall sherd from a partly thrown pot, test pit 14, the rim of a hand built brushed pottery pot discovered at a depth of 1.1 m in black humus-rich sandy loam reached at a depth of 70 cm and dating to the last century bc-1st-2nd centuries ad, and in test pit 16 16th–18th centuries finds. Suspected dry stone structures possibly connected with part of the early manor complex that existed in this part of the park were unearthed at a depth of 1 m in test pit 16 and at a depth of 1.05 m in test pit 18.
