Žvalgomieji tyrimai Olandų gatvėje 21A

LT2014 m. gegužės mėnesį atlikti žvalgomieji tyrimai Olandų g. 21A. Sklypas yra Stalo kalno piliakalnio ŠV papėdėje. Ši teritorija patenka į Vilniaus senamiesčio (UK 16073) bei Vilniaus senojo miesto vietos su priemiesčiais (UK 25504) teritorijas. Iki šiol šiame sklype platesnės apimties archeologiniai tyrimai nevykdyti. Tyrimų metu ištirti penki 5x5 m dydžio plotai. Plotai 2 ir 5 tyrimų metu praplėsti, tad iš viso ištirtas bendras 142 m2 plotas. Plotuose 1 ir 2 aptiktos pastatų, greičiausiai šioje teritorijoje stovėjusių XIX a. pabaigoje-XX a. I pusėje, liekanų. ENIn may 2014, a field evaluation was conducted at Olandų st. 21 A. The remains of buildings that stood on the plot in the late 19th first half of the 20th century were discovered in areas 1 and 2. The archaeologically valuable cultural layer was destroyed in erecting and maintaining the buildings, but is visible in the trench walls and continues beyond the boundaries of the excavated area. A 2–3,6 m thick cultural layer was recorded in areas 4 and 5, the greater part of which is fill layers created in the 19th-20th centuries in levelling the relief. A 20–50 cm thick grey layer, which, based on the discovered material, could be connected with the period of the Curvum Castrum’s existence, i.e. the 13th-14th centuries, was recorded under the fill layers.
