Žvalgomieji tyrimai Ardiškyje

LT2014 m. vykdyti žvalgomieji archeologiniai tyrimai Ardiškio kaime (Širvintų r., Kernavės sen.). Tyrimai atlikti Neries pakrantėje, privačiame sklype, kuris patenka į Ardiškio pilkapyno II vizualinės apsaugos pozonį. Tyrimų tikslas-nustatyti, ar šioje vietoje projektuojamos ūkininko sodybos teritorijoje yra išlikusių archeologinių vertybių požymių. Iš viso aptikti 5 objektai. Jie fiksuoti 4 skirtinguose šurfuose. Visi objektai-tai įžemio horizonte išryškėjusios duobės su tamsesniu nei įžemis užpildu. Trijuose objektuose buvo surasta ankstyvuoju bronzos amžiumi datuotų radinių. Likusiuose dviejuose radinių nerasta, tačiau, sprendžiant pagal užpildo struktūrą, jie turėtų priklausyti tam pačiam kompleksui. Archeologinių požymių-radinių ir/arba objektų-aptikta visuose 6 šurfuose. Tai rodo, jog šioje vietoje yra išlikę iki šiol nežinotos ankstyvojo bronzos amžiaus gyvenvietės ar stovyklavietės pėdsakų. ENIn 2014, an evaluation was conducted in Ardiškis village (Širvintos district, Kernavė eldership) on a private plot, which is on the bank of the Neris and in the visual protection subzone of the Ardiškis barrow cemetery II protection zone. The investigation’s goal was to determine whether any signs of archaeologically valuable objects have survived at this site on the grounds of a planned farmstead. Six 4 m2 test pits were excavated. No cultural layer had survived in any of the test pits, but sunken objects were discovered in the sterile soil horizon and isolated finds were encountered in the topsoil layer. A total of 20 sherds of hand built pottery with brushed surfaces, 14 flint flakes, and one irregular flint blade were collected. Based on the pottery, which is akin to that of the Trzciniec culture, all of the finds should be preliminarily dated to the early bronze age. During the evaluation a hitherto unknown early bronze age settlement or camp site was discovered.
