Summary / Abstract:

LTFormos ir konstrukcijos santykis perteikia architektūros dvilypumą, jungiantį utilitarinį ir estetinį pradus, žmogaus meninės raiškos ir techninės veiklos aspektus. Šio santykio analizė leidžia/padeda suvokti statybos dėsningumus ir architektūros raidos tendencijas. Disertaciniame darbe lietuvių sodybų medinių trobesių raida ir etnografiniai savitumai aiškinami/atskleidžiami remiantis formų ir konstrukcijų sąveika. Formos ir konstrukcijos nagrinėjamos chronologiniu, tipologiniu bei regioniniu pjūviu. Darbą sudaro įvadas, trys skyriai ir bendrosios išvados. Pirmame skyriuje „Medžio architektūros teorinės minties raida“ nagrinėjami XVI – XIX a. moksliniai traktatai, įvairaus pobūdžio leidiniai bei jų įtaka kaimo statybai. Antrame skyriuje „Trobesio konstrukcijų genezė bei paplitimas“ analizuojamos medinių trobesių konstrukcijos - sienos, pamatai, durys, langai, prieangiai, stogai, jų raida, paplitimas, regioniniai ypatumai. Šioje darbo dalyje atkreipiamas dėmesys į architektūrinių pastato elementų funkcijos/naudos ir estetikos/grožio santykį, formavusį pastato stilių ar regioninius statybos bruožus. Trečiame skyriuje „Medžio architektūros formų savitumai“ įvardijami veiksniai, lėmę nevienalaikę regionuose statybos pažangą, įvertinama Europinių stilių įtaka, apibūdinami lietuvių sodybos medinių trobesių regioniniai bruožai. Pabaigoje apibendrinami teoriniai ir praktiniai tyrimų rezultatai, pateikiamos darbo išvados. [Iš leidinio]

ENThe relation between form and structure conveys the duality of architecture that combines the utilitarian and aesthetic principles and the aspects of human artistic expression and technical activities. Analysis of this relation helps to understand the laws of construction and development trends in architecture. The thesis studies the evolution and ethnographic individuality of wooden buildings of Lithuanian homesteads on the basis of interaction between form and structure. Form and structure are analysed from the chronological, typological and regional aspects. The thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters and a general conclusion. The first chapter, “The Evolution of the Theoretical Thought of Wooden Architecture", examines 16th-19th-cc. treatises, various publications and their influence on rural construction. The second chapter, “The Genesis and Spread of Structures of Buildings”, analyses structures of wooden buildings: walls, foundations, doors, windows, porches and roofs, and their development, spread and regional features. This chapter focuses on the functionality/benefit and aesthetics/beauty relation of a building’s architectural elements, which shaped the building's style or regional features of construction. The third chapter, “The Individuality of Forms of Wooden Architecture”, identifies factors that determined asynchronous progress of construction in the regions evaluates the influence of European styles and defines regional features of wooden buildings of Lithuanian homesteads. The conclusion summarises the theoretical and practical results of the study.
