LT2016 m. KU ir KšM tęsė Bajorų kapinyno (Kietaviškių sen., Elektrėnų sav.) tyrinėjimus (ATL 2006 metais, 2007, p. 146–153; ATL 2007 metais, 2008, p. 192–198; ATL 2008 metais, 2009, p. 134–140; ATL 2009 metais, 2010, p. 128–135; ATL 2010 metais, 2011, p. 116–124; ATL 2011 metais, 2012, p. 136–147; ATL 2012 metais, 2013, p. 181–191; ATL 2013 metais, 2014, p. 156–159; ATL 2014 metais, 2015, p. 161–167; ATL 2015 metais, 2016, p. 173–178). Radiniai perduoti į KšM. Iš viso 2016 m. rasta 1 akmens amžiaus laikotarpio titnago nuoskala, 4 ugnies neliesti kauliukai ir 222 g degintinių kaulų, 27 žiestos keramikos trupiniai, 4 medinių dirbinių dalys. ENIn 2016, KU and KšM continued the investigation of the bog at the N foot of the hill in Bajorai cemetery (Elektrėnai municipality). The N part (6 m2 ) of area 29 in the bog began to be excavated under dry conditions. A Stone Age flint flake was found but the 222 g of cremated bones, 4 bones untouched by fire, 27 small sherds of hand thrown pottery, and 4 pieces of wooden artefacts belong to the 14th first half of the 15th century horizon of the cremation cemetery.
