ENThe purpose of this chapter is to explore the relationship between the Baltic states and China, with a focus on Latvian, Lithuanian, and Estonian societies. The chapter will examine the potential dependencies or conditionality from a societal perspective and will also provide recommendations for decision-makers aimed at promoting economic stability, political sovereignty, and cultural heritage. By shedding light on the complex and multifaceted relationship between the Baltic states and China, this chapter aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of this important issue, and to inform about ongoing discussions in society about China.
