Archeologinių, mitologinių ir istorinių vietų žvalgymai

LT2019 m. liepos–lapkričio mėnesiais BRIAI Kelmės, Panevėžio, Raseinių ir Švenčionių rajonuose žvalgė 14 kultūros paveldo vertybių požymių turinčių vietų, aptiko ir iš žmonių gavo 263 geležies amžiaus – naujausių laikų archeologinių radinių, kuriuos perdavė saugoti į LNM, PKM ir RKIM. Aukštiškių radimvietė (Kelmės r., Tytuvėnų apylinkių sen.) yra apie 70 m į V nuo Žerbuvos ežero kranto, buvusiame Tytuvėnų vaismedžių medelyne. Valda turi naują šeimininką, kuriam pradėjus pjauti obelis ir rauti kelmus, į žemės paviršių buvo iškelta viduriniam geležies amžiui būdingų radinių, manytina, iš suardytų kapų. Žvalgant vietą tarp senų obelų, kurią parodė Rolandas Dumskis, aptikta keletas papuošalų ir jų dalių (1 pav.). Dirbiniai buvo vienaip ar kitaip apgadinti, slūgsojo 10–15 cm gylyje, virš raudono molio įžemio susidariusiame juodžemyje. [...] [p. 406].

ENDuring July – November 2019, BRIAI surveyed 14 sites with signs of cultural heritage features in Kelmė, Panevėžys, Raseiniai, and Švenčionys Districts, discovering or receiving from people 263 Iron Age – Modern Age archaeological finds. Legal protection was proposed for 5 sites with archaeological and historical value, one of which needs a field evaluation, and another 5 sites need further field surveys. In Kelmė District, the Aukštiškiai find spot and Kuršiai find spot I, where a 2nd–3rd-century barrow site surveyed and excavated by Tadas Daugirdas in 1887 was identified, were surveyed. In Raseiniai District, the Jūkainiai and Nemakščiai find spots were surveyed. Tytuvėnai Forest dugout site II (Kelmė District), where participants at a meeting of all the Lithuanian partisan commands rested and worked in the summer of 1949, was identified. In Panevėžys District, Raguva Forest bunker site III, where, on 21 September 1952, it is conjectured that partisan captain, author, and Lithuanian literature critic, Bronius Krivickas died, was surveyed and the Raguva stone with a conical cup mark was examined. In Švenčionys District, the survey identified the Antanai Forest partisan archive find spot, where the archive of the Tigras Brigade of the Vytautas Military District, one of the most significant finds of this nature during the entire history of independent Lithuania, was discovered in 1999.
