Summary / Abstract:
ENAfter graduating from the university, some students look for their place in Lithuania, while others are attracted by the wide world. What are the grounds of such decisions? The research aims to determine how the maturity of ethnic identity of the undergraduates of Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences is connected with their future plans. The research was conducted by means of the ethnic identity measure MEIM-R and a questionnaire on the undergraduates’ future plans. The research revealed that the maturity of ethnic identity is positively related to their plans of staying in Lithuania. Keywords: ethnic identity, ethnic group, future plans. [From the publication]
