LTThe article focuses on the problem of personal competence of mentor. The problematic place of personal competence of a teacher-trainee as well as mentor in strategic education documents is analysed. The authors discuss the most important components of mentors competence and his/her personal competence. The empiric research aims to identify the place of personal competence of a mentor in the structure of competence model considering its importance and expression of competences.
