Europos dimensijos realizavimas mokant geografijos : disertacija

LTDisertacijos tikslas – ištirti Europos geografijos ugdymo turinį, siejant tai su Europos geografinės erdvės transformacijomis ir švietimo tendencijomis bei sukurti ir patikrinti Europos dimensijos (ED) realizavimo didaktinį modelį mokant geografijos. Tyrimų aktualumas grindžiamas Europos politinio, ekonominio, socialinio ir kultūrinio gyvenimo transformacijomis; nauja Europoje besiformuojančia integruojamojo ir daugelio disciplinų pobūdžio švietimo ideologija (Europos dimensija); naujų mokymo technologijų plėtote (informacinė visuomenė). Atliktas tyrimas, grįstas hipotetine prielaida, kad ED realizavimas mokant geografijos sukuria naują Europos geografijos turinio paradigmą, leidžiančią moksleiviams ugdyti Europos kaip nuolat kintančio ir besivystančio geografinio erdvinio, medžiaginio ir daugiakultūrio proceso sampratą. Ją patvirtina šio tyrimo metu gauti rezultatai. Mokslinis tyrimo naujumas ir teorinis jo reikšmingumas siejamas su: Lietuvoje atliktu edukologiniu ED realizavimo mokant geografijos tyrimu; Europos geografijos ugdymo turinio naujos paradigmos pagrindimu (ED geografinės sampratos formulavimas; ED teminių sričių išskyrimas; ED didaktinė interpretacija); didaktinio ED realizavimo modelio sukūrimu ir patikrinimu. Praktinų tyrimo rezultatų reikšmingumą atspindi: sukurta ED geografijos sąvokų sistema taikytina geografijos bendrosiose programose ir išsilavinimo standartuose; parengta metodika Europos geografijos ugdymo pasiekimams tirti; pateiktas metodinis ED realizavimo atskiruose bendrojo lavinimo pagrindinės mokyklos koncentruose sprendimas. ENThe objective of the doctor’s dissertation is to examine the educational content of the geography of Europe relating it with the transformations and educational trends of the European geographical area and to test the didactic model of the realization of the European dimension (ED) in teaching geography. The relevance of the research is based on the transformations of the political, economic, social and cultural life in Europe; ideology of integrated and multidisciplinary education which is under development in Europe (European dimension); development of new teaching technologies (information society). The conducted research is based on the hypothetical assumption that the realization of the ED in teaching geography creates a new paradigm of the content of geography of Europe which enables pupils to develop the conception of Europe as a constantly changing and developing geographical, spatial, material and multicultural process. The paradigm is substantiated by the research findings. The novelty and theoretical significance of the research is related with the educational research on the realization of the ED in teaching geography conducted in Lithuania; substantiation of the new paradigm of the content of education of geography of Europe (formulation of the ED geographic concept; identification of the ED thematic areas; ED didactic interpretation); development and testing of the didactic ED realization model. The importance of practical research findings are reflected by the system of ED geographic conceptions which should be applied in general geography curricular and educational standards; the methodology developed for the studying of the achievements in the education of geography of Europe; proposed methodical solution for the ED realization in individual concentres of general education schools.
