ENFor the purposes of this research, nationally representative polling with five questions was conducted across all three Baltic states and Norway. Questionnaires with five questions were prepared in the Latvian, Estonian, Lithuanian, Norwegian and Russian languages. Respondents in the Baltic states were able to choose their preferred language - Latvian, Estonian, Lithuanian or Russian. Questions and the available answers were introduced with a lead-in text: "Now we would like to ask you a few questions on state-level objects and services without which our everyday lives would be hardly imaginable: 1. Which state-level objects and services have the highest importance in your daily life (Please indicate up to three (3) state-level categories of such objects and services)? Energy / transport / banking / financial market infrastructures / health sector / drinking water supply and distribution / digital infrastructure 2. Are you confident that the availability of the most important statelevel services and objects will be assured in all circumstances, including a crisis? Definitely yes / Rather yes / Rather no / Definitely no / Hard to say / No answer 3. Would you like to know how the work of the most important state-level services and objects is assured in all circumstances, including a crisis? Definitely yes / Rather yes / Rather no / Definitely no / Hard to say / No answer 4. Would you like to know how the assurance of the most important state-level services and objects is funded in all circumstances, including a crisis? Definitely yes / Rather yes / Rather no / Definitely no / Hard to say / No answer.
