ENvThe article studies some lingua-axiological features of speech communication, which are refl ected in the genre of congratulations as one of the types of speech communication. Congratulations and wishes defi ne the value attitudes of communicants and linguistic means for representing axiological dominants. The study material includes congratulations in Russian-language newspapers in Lithuania. The structure and objects of the analyzed wishes, the linguistic means of their expression as a whole are typical of congratulations to the speakers of the Russian linguistic culture. The lingua- axiological features of the speech genre of congratulations, considered in this communicative space, are determined by the socio-cultural parameters of speech communication, the type of relationship between the communicants.
