Užsitęsusi diletantų epocha

LTApie dabartinę konfrontaciją tarp valdančiųjų ir Lietuvos žmonių, pasiekusią precedento neturintį mastą. Vis dėlto tiek Seimas, tiek Vyriausybė neieško racionalių sprendimų. Jie kaltina žmones, toliau įžeidinėja protestuotojus kurie, jų akimis, pataikauja šalies priešiškoms jėgoms. Politikai kaltina filosofus ir intelektualus, kurie ne kartą įspėjo apie galimas šios konfrontacijos pasekmes, nesuteikiančias vilčių dialogui. Toks požiūris rodo, kad Lietuvos politiniam elitui per tris posovietinio laikotarpio dešimtmečius nepavyko tapti profesionalais.

ENThe present confrontation between those in power and the people in Lithuania has reached unprecedent scale and yet, both Seimas and the government are hardly looking for any reasonable solution. Instead, they blame the people, call them bad names and continue insulting the protesters who in their eyes are doing lip service to the “enemies“ of the country. Politicians blame philosophers and intellectuals who have repeatedly warned them about the potential outcomes of this confrontation and there is little hope for dialogue. Such an attitude shows that Lithuania‘s political elites have not managed to become professionals during the three decades of post-Soviet period, argues the author.
