Summary / Abstract:

LTPo nepriklausomybės atgavimo pasikeitė Lietuvos ekonominė ir socialinė situacija. Taip pat įvyko kardinalūs pokyčiai švietimo, socialinio darbo ir socialinės pedagogikos srityse. Viena iš socialinių naujovių Lietuvoje – tai vaikus globojančios šeimos. Globos problemos, vaikų nesirūpinimas tapo labai svarbiomis problemomis Vakarų šalyse. Kad sumažinti vaikų nepriežiūrą į pagalbą pasitelktos šeimos, kurios globoja tokius vaikus. Straipsnyje pristatomos nuostatos į vaikus globojančias šeimas, lyginant jas Europos lygmenyje. Taip pat pristatoma vaikų globos sistema Lietuvoje, jos pokyčiai nuo 1998 metų. Nustatyta, kad vaikų globos sistema labai puikiai pasikeitė per nepriklausomybės laikotarpį.Reikšminiai žodžiai: Šeima; Globa; Vaikų globa šeimoje; Family; Children foster; Children foster family.

ENAfter restoration on independence, the economic and social situation in Lithuania changed. Also, fundamental changes in areas of education, social work, and social pedagogy took place. One of social novelties in Lithuania—foster families. Foster care issues and lack of care for children have become very acute in the Western countries. In order to reduce the problem of neglected children, foster families were involved. The article sets out attitudes towards foster families in comparison to those of Europe. It also introduces the system of care for children in Lithuania and its changes since 1998. It was ascertained that the system of care for children has successfully changed during the years of independence.
