Platelių dvaro savininkų Šuazelių (De Choiseul-Gouffier) šeimos archyvo rinkinys žemaičių muziejuje "Alka"
LTŠio straipsnio tikslas – pristatyti išlikusią dvaro archyvinę medžiagą, atskleisti keletą Platelių dvaro istorijos fragmentų, susijusių su prancūzų kilmės grafu Oktavijumi Šuazeliu-Gufjė, jo žmona Sofija Šuazel-Gufjė (Tyzenhauzaite) bei jų sūnaus Aleksandro Šuazelio-Gufjė šeimos genealogine linija. Rankraštinis fondas mažai tyrinėtas ir pareikalaus ilgų studijų metų. Tai gausus rinkinys ūkinių ir teisinių rankraštinių dokumentų, daugiausia nuorašų (XVI a. – XX a. pradžia), kurie buvę kruopščiai suskirstyti atskiromis temomis ir chronologine tvarka (apie 3 000 vnt.). Dokumentai surašyti lenkų ir prancūzų kalbomis. Fonde saugoma 52 vnt. XIX–XX a. pradžios ūkio inventorių bei dvaro išlaidų ir pajamų knygų. Gausus epistolinis palikimas (680 vnt.), keliasdešimt vienetų finansinių ataskaitų, siųstų iš Šuazeliams priklausiusio cukraus fabriko Varšuvoje. Atskirą dalį sudaro spaudiniai: brošiūros, įvairių užsienio šalyse pirktų prekių katalogai, atvirukai, liudijantys, kad Šuazeliai gana nemažai keliavo po Vakarų Europą. Įdomiausią dalį sudaro fotografijos, dvaro žemių sklypų ir miškų planai. Senųjų spaudinių rinkinyje saugoma 15 knygų prancūzų kalba su Šuazelių ranka darytais įrašais. Be abejo, iš dvaro bibliotekos knygų ir žurnalų bei laikraščių komplektų pateko ir daugiau, tačiau 1940 metais dvarų turtą pervežant į muziejų buvo registruojami tik vertingiausi meno kūriniai, o spaudinių sąrašai iš viso nebuvo sudarinėjami (skaičiavo „dėžėmis ir krepšiais“), todėl identifikuoti, kuriam dvarui priklauso, įmanoma tik pagal rastus autografus ir kitokius žymėjimus [p. 67].
ENIn 1940, during the nationalization of manors, thousands of unique exhibits – archives, iconographic material, books, maps, the plans of manor lands, works of painting and graphics, furniture, sculptures, the works of applied arts arrived at Samogitian Museum “Alka” in Telšiai. In this way the history of many manors was saved. The largest collection in its volume of Plateliai Manor is related to the family of counts de Choiseul-Gouffier who ruled Plateliai manor. At the beginning of the 19th century, Plateliai manor was given to French origin count August Choiseul-Gouffier. The documents of Museum Manuscript Foundation about the official transfer of Plateliai Manor are dated in 1799–1808. August Choiseul-Gouffier’s son Octavijus lived in Plateliai Manor more permanently. In 1818, he married Lithuanian State Treasurer Antanas Tyzenhauzas’ granddaughter Sofija Tyzenhauzaitė. Oktavijus and Sofija’s son Aleksandras married Sofija Čapska, they had four children: Gabrielius (1873–1935), Marija (1871-1930), Aleksandras (1876–1909), Liudvikas (1880–1949). The last heir of the manor, the youngest son of Aleksandras and Sofija, Liudvikas Choiseul in 1940 nationalized Plateliai Manor and emigrated abroad.An abundant set of economic and legal manuscript documents, the inventories of separate manor lands, detailed plans of forests and lands that belonged to the Choiseuls (the manors of Plateliai, Gintališkė, Kepurėnai, and Išalynas in Telšiai district, the lands of Zofijavas, Mirabelis, and Slabada “palivarkai” (a type of farmstead) in Rokiškis district, as well as Žirinojai Manor in Ukmergė district) of the 19th century dated in 1863–1897, 1925–1933 has been preserved in the museum. The prints make a separate part: the written heritage, French books with handwritten entries by the Choiseuls, brochures, the catalogues of purchased goods and postcards bought in different countries, mainly in France, is especially valuable written heritage by Sofija Tyzenhauzaitė de Choiseul-Gouffier (1790–1878), who lived in this manor, one of the first Lithuanian women writers and who created in the French language. The preserved photographs of Plateliai are dated in 1870–1880. The images of Plateliai town and manor of the 19th century, as well as the Choiseul family are captured in these photographs. The aim of the present article is on the basis of the preserved archival material to reveal several fragments from the manor’s history.
