Realization of the cubic curriculum in European school partnership projects: opportunities and insufficiencies (the case study of the project "Children's games")
Summary / Abstract:

ENIn order to survive in the contemporary world, various reforms are required, especially at schools. A school and teachers have become very important and even vital. A young European resident has to learn to survive in the 21st century. They have to learn things that are important in the changing world, i.e. they have to be professionals and personalities, but at the same time they have to know how to be a team-player, have leadership qualities, resolve problems, and make decisions, have command of foreign languages, know how to use IT, etc. This article introduces a methodology of scientific research that aims identifying the way European school projects could be successfully integrated into compulsory teaching plan and implemented through a volumetric teaching plan, i.e. the wide profile level. Cooperation of European school is a great possibility to improve the local and national teaching plan with the help of European dimensions and improve the qualification of a school by striving for wide profile aims. It is important to understand that a teaching plan is not only a part of curriculum, it is also an instrument used for pedagogic and organizational activity of a school.
