ENThe article is devoted to the study of the administrative and legal regulation of the privatization of citizens in the Republic of Lithuania and Ukraine. The author makes a comparative analysis of the current state of the national legislation and legislation of the Republic of Lithuania regulating the sphere of citizenship, namely, the Constitution, the Law "On Citizenship of Ukraine" of January 18, 2001 and the Law of the Republic of Lithuania "On Citizenship" of December 2, 2010 No. XI-1196 as well as other normative and legal acts. On the basis of what it proposes to improve the modern legislation of Ukraine in the administrative-legal aspect, imposing it on international standards and norms on the example of the Republic of Lithuania.
