ENThe book analyzes the influence of modern world values on human mental health, seeks answers in the insights of academic articles, interprets research data, delves into phenomenological descriptions of individual mental states and individual lives, dives into the material of poetry therapy lessons and sociocultural environment processes. The book tries to solve the problem how the modern world is creating an environment that helps to preserve one's inner integrity, self-awareness and self-esteem, promoting a person's responsibility for one's own and other people's mental health; creating values that promote a mental health-friendly environment. Ethical principles. Respecting the privacy of each person, the book does not mention the specific names of the people whose destinies I reveal or whose insights I share. Those who I interacted with even wanted me to tell other people about their difficulties, but their interests are not harmed in this book. The deliberate choice was not a strict, academic writing style, but a freer style of an essay, providing opportunities to popularize academic knowledge and to make the publication more attractive to the reader. It is innovative that practical mental health issues take a broad look at the contemporary context of social culture and the role of elective values is analyzed. The book covers the ethical concern for human life and the interdisciplinary approach at the crossroads of public health, human ecology, psychiatry, humanities and cultural educology. Contents.
