ENComputers are spreading in all walks of life - working, learning and entertaining. There is an increasing number of people who constantly work with computers. Computers are improving every day, their capabilities are great, so they are used in public and private institutions, schools and universities, in the household. In most cases, a workplace is no longer imaginable without a computer. At the same time, there is growing concern among physicians in many parts of the world about the health of computer users. Research has shown that working with a computer can cause eye, musculoskeletal system, increased fatigue and skin damage. With a certain intensity of the spread of computers in various spheres of human activity, questions naturally arise about the impact of the computer and its work environment on human health. Obviously, a lot depends on the person’s own behavior when working on a computer. Many laws are in place, there are good tips, instructions on how to handle computers and other electronic devices, but often a person does not behave as recommended. It is very important for IT professionals to behave properly, so it is important to study the behavior and their approach to computer work.Ergonomic studies have identified the main causes of health risks for computer workers due to long-term stress syndrome: poor layout of workplaces and equipment in the workplace; incorrect posture habits; poor understanding of employees about the location of computer work. Ergonomics professionals have begun to take care of the posture of individuals, which when working with a computer is in many cases irregular. It has been found that computer workers are at risk for incorrect posture, so ergonomic skills need to be developed as soon as they start working on a computer, adapting furniture and computer technology to physiological needs. Ergonomics training has been found to be an effective method to increase ergonomic knowledge. An effective way to avoid health problems is to provide enough knowledge about the correct use of a computer. In summary, and after analyzing all the information provided in this work, I can say that proper information and acquaintance of employees with all relevant information related to safe computer work is as important as the creation of a suitable workplace.
