ENIn the suggested article, the author aims to define the basic tendencies and characteristics of the native historical science of the last decade concerning the investigation of the history of the Holocaust in Byelorussia during the years of German occupation 1941 — 1944. Such an approach requires not only a survey of the latest historiographical sources, but also an analysis of the already established historiographical tradition. The formulation of the problem, from our point of view, predetermines: first, studying the latest historical literature on the topic of the Holocaust in Byelorussia; second, carrying out a comparative analysis of basic scientific-historical elaborations; third, giving an outline of the most important tendencies in the investigation of the history of the Holocaust in Byelorussia. And, finally, defining the tendencies of top priority in the development of modern Byelorussian historiography, also taking into account the achievements of foreign historians.
