Opera Lietuvoje: šiuolaikinio teatro link. Repertuaro įvairovė, konceptuali režisūra, etapiniai spektakliai

LTŠimtmečio sulaukusioje Lietuvos profesionalios operos scenoje būta įvairių laikotarpių, tačiau didžiausi pokyčiai operos repertuaro formavimo politikoje įvyko Lietuvai atgavus nepriklausomybę, o šio žanro režisūrinėje plotmėje – dar kone dešimtmečiu vėliau, XX–XXI amžių sandūroje. Teatrologė, operos kritikė Rima JŪRAITĖ glaustoje apžvalgoje pristato svarbiausias šiuolaikėjančio repertuaro kryptis: ne tik išaugusią premjerinių kūrinių įvairovę, bet ir keletą pačių ryškiausių, etapinių šio laikotarpio operos spektaklių. Tuo pat metu esmingai keitėsi ir operai bei kitiems muzikos teatro žanrams atstovaujančių institucijų panorama – per pastaruosius du dešimtmečius steigėsi nepriklausomos kūrybinės grupės, praplėtusios operą „monopolizavusių“ valstybinių teatrų repertuaro pasiūlą, kartu nulėmusios ir kitokį, konkurencingą šių dienų operos lauko gyvavimą.

ENThe century-old professional Lithuanian opera has been through many phases; however, the biggest changes to the policy behind the repertoire happened after the restoration of independence, and, in a directorial sense, at the turn of the millennium a decade later. The theatrologist and opera critic Rima JŪRAITĖ briefly presents important trends in the ever-modernising repertoire, including not only the increased variety of premières, but a few examples of the most prominent and representative productions of the period. At the same time, the entir e landscape of operatic institutions and other forms of musical theatre also underwent significant changes. The last two decades have seen the establishment of independent musical theatre companies that have expanded the range of the repertoire, which until then was a ‘monopoly’ held by state institutions. This gave rise to the competitive operatic life that we have today.
