Płeć a zaufanie i solidarność społeczna wśród studentów w Polsce, na Litwie i Słowacji

ENThe article shows the level of trust existing between students in three countries of Central and Eastern Europe, i.e. Poland, Lithuania and Slovakia. The survey, was conducted by the staff of the Department of Macroeconomics Faculty of Economics and Management, University of Szczecin. The students surveyed were from university economic departments from the three aforementioned countries. In addition, an examination was made whether gender had an impact on the level of trust amongst the surveyed students. The analysis showed that students from Slovakia were the most trusting of strangers and are more likely to social capital than students from Poland and Lithuania. Also, women showed a greater level of institutional trust and social trust than men.
