ENThe objective of the article is to present the Karp family, who inherited the Repla and Zlobowszczyzna assets of the Wolkowysk land in the 17th century. The founder of this branch, Stefan Jozef Karp, the marshal of the Wołkowysk County, died shortly before September 7, 1657. He was about 51 years old. He was buried in the church in Repla, where he had founded a necropolis for his relatives. He was the representative of the fourth generation of the family in the Wolkowysk County, but the first born already in the Catholic faith. Former student of the Zamosc Academy, royal courtier, elector of King Wladyslaw IV, supporter of King John II Casimir and the Chodkiewicz family, tax-collector of Wolkowysk land and for over 10 years the highest official of this County. This two-generation branch of the Karp family expired just before March 1, 1669, with the death of young Stanislaw Wladyslaw Karp (app. 26), the son of the marshal of the Wolkowysk County.
