Aleksandro Tarasevičiaus iliustracijos A. Palubinskio "Rožynui"

LTAleksandro Palubinskio sudaryta knyga „Šv. Mergelės Marijos garbei rožančius ir maldos“ (Rožynas) yra viena iš gražiausių, gausiai iliustruotų knygų, pasirodžiusių Vilniaus akademijos spaustuvėje XVII amžiuje. Iliustracijas šiai knygai raižė vienas žymesnių Vilniaus graverių Aleksandras Tarasevičius. Šis straipsnis buvo inspiruotas kelių priežasčių. Pirmoji jų būtų paini šios knygos istorija: nėra iki šiol galutinai išaiškinta jos leidimo vieta, spaustuvė bei tikslios datos. Dažnai iškraipoma leidinio autoriaus pavardė, taip pat nebuvo keltas ir iliustracijų meniškumo klausimas. Šio darbo tikslas nėra pateikti galutinius faktus apie šios knygos istoriją, tačiau tai galėtų tapti nauju impulsu tolesniam knygos tyrinėjimui bei jos meninio palikimo įvertinimui. Rožynas išsiskiria iš kitų XVII amžiaus Vilniaus akademijos spaustuvėje leistų knygų apimtimi bei iliustracijų kiekiu. Ją sudaro apie 600 puslapių ir yra atspausti 42 vario raižiniai. Žinomi du šios knygos variantai - lotyniškasis bei lenkiškasis.

ENThe book “Rosarium et officium В. Maria virginis <...>” by Aleksandras Hilarijus Palubinskis published in Vilnius is imensely illustrated by famous engraver of the 17th c. A. Tarasevičius, who lived in Vilnius, creative works. The bibliography of this book is very complicated, so till this time we can not prove scientifically the date of publishing of this book. According to some facts the author of this article aims to convince reader, that the book really appeared in Vilnius in Jesuits’ publishing house. But the situation of dateing this book is more complicated - according to the other data is meant that the book had two publications in Latin - about 1672 and 1678, and one - in Polish, which appeared about 1686 and had an additional part “The Life of Saints”, which was written by Albertas Stanislovas Radvila. The second part of the article deals with engravings. There are three types of engravings: calendar cycle, engravings about the events of life of Jesus and Maria and also the larger engravings on the Bible theme. The analogies were found on calendar cycle’s part — “The Seasons of Year II” — cycle of engravings according to it the engravings of months — January, February, March, June, September, November and December were created by A. Tarasevičius. Only the detales were copied very exactly, so much an interpretation might be called “modernized dependence upon the example”. This closeness of compositions to author’s mentioned cycle only might certify a fact, that in the art of Lithuania of the 17th c. existed the other understanding (interpretation) of creative work’s originality — not to move from the first image of creation. To the other cycles of engravings, printed in “Rosarium” the analogies are needed in order to know dates of publishing, also the place of this book in the heritage of art of Lithuania.
