ENThe article analyses the concept of modernisation of human resource management in the context of development of the human potential in view of the key tendencies in the field of human resource management. The article assesses the potential of developing the human potential in mass catering facilities on the basis of results of an empirical study. The purpose of the article is to determine and empirically assess the possibilities for the modernisation of human resource management in the catering sector on the basis of a qualitative study carried out in the subdivisions of the Čili Holding pizza chain.
