ENOver the past couple of years, development of Artificial intelligence (AI) promises the biggest economic growth in various industries because of enormous computing power and usage of big data. The article explores some strategies that different countries are adopting towards AI and suggest that digital economy, which turned in platform capitalism (or surveillance capitalism), is not only bringing us brighter future but also is enmeshed with new threats such as breaching privacy and cyber crimes. E.g. failings of the digital economy and rapidly developed AI systems in public policy allows societies to claim the responsibility from big US tech companies like Google, Twitter or Facebook for distortion of traditional voting systems. Different countries and companies themselves are trying to adapt new ethics of AI and creating codes of conduct. However, knowing that international competition in AI is only increasing, the idea of global AI ethics become far from easy and somewhat paradoxical endeavor.
