LTStraipsnyje, pasitelkus Kultūros paveldo centro Duomenų skyriaus Detaliųjų tyrimų poskyryje saugomus dokumentus, analizuojamos technologų XXa. 8 dešXXI a. pr. teiktos rekomendacijos Lietuvos istorinių pastatų lipdybos restauratoriams.
ENIn this article, conservation and restoration work methods related to the moulded and sculpture decor, which were recommende d by the Lithuanian chemistry technologists and used by the restorers from '70 s of the 20th to early 21 st century, are analysed. The article presents reports on the laboratory experiments of chemistry technologists carried out to determine the effects of various substances on the restored material. In addition, reports on chemical research carried out in the historical buildings are analysed. Systemization of technological recommendations for conservation and restoration of the moulded decor is carried out. On the basis of analysed sources, the main reasons for rather rapid decomposition of the moulded decor are identified, as well as the impact of different conservation and restoration methods on the authentic materials. This article also gives insights why so many objects of the moulding heritage that wer e restored relatively recently - 20-40 years ago - again require urgent intervention by specialists, but answers are given only to some of the questions arising. During the research, problems related to such issues as responsibilities of the restorers and researchers, control of the conservation and restoration work process, and testing of substances offered on the market became apparent. It became obvious that the methods suggested were not always accurately implemented. Often inappropriate substances were used. The problem still exists as practice shows that inappropriate materials have been used so far. The recommendations made by the chemistry technologists as well as the methods of restoration work prepared by the restorer should be carefully considered and analysed.
