ENThe history of state anthems in 1944–1950. The new anthem of Lithuanian SSR became a part of these events, however, it turned out that it was not able to overshadow the old national anthem of independent Lithuania. Perhaps it happened because this new anthem was just a product of political requirements unlike the old anthem.
