Bažnyčios misijos ir politinių uždavinių santykio problematika

LTBažnyčios misija – tai Dievo plano apreiškimas ir įgyvendinimas pasaulyje bei istorijoje. Bažnyčios misijos veiklos pagrindas yra Dievo valios troškimas išganyti visus žmones, kad jie pasiektų tiesos pažinimą (plg. 1 Tim. 2., 4-5). Šios misijos veikla yra glaudžiai susijusi su pačia žmogaus prigimtimi, nes apreikšdama Kristų – vienintelį Dievo ir žmonių tarpininką – Bažnyčia žmonėms atskleidžia tikrosios jų padėties ir galutinio pašaukimo tiesą. ENThe mission of the Church is a revelation of God’s plan and its implementation in the world and history. The basis of the activity of the Church’s mission is the desire of God’s will to save all the people so that they could achieve knowledge of the truth (cf. 1 Tim. 2., 4-5). The activity of this mission is closely related to the very nature of a human being because in revealing Christ – the only mediator between God and people – the Church reveals the truth to the people about their real condition and their final calling. The article analyses whether the story of saving supposedly completed by God through the Church is related to political tasks of the Church, and whether the Church in participating in the work of creating the Kingdom of God has a political motive.
