Summary / Abstract:

ENThe meaning of the Constitution is significant in our society life given it is the supreme law of the country, regulating the most important relations between the Human Being, the Society and the State. This can be define as an agreement of the society, coordinating different interests. Therefore, in the article, the significance of the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania as well as its peculiarities are analysed. The peculiarities of the Constitution revealed through its mandatory nature for all the entities of the legal relationship, through its stability, the supreme legal power, consistency, consolidation of the fundamental values, etc.
