ENThe results of the research described here prove the great Bomelsvite baken and the geodesic signal with the coordinated geodetic mark, characterized by a central structure in the ground. It is likely that in the second half of the 20th century, as the value of the geodetic signal / mark associated with other coastal signs decreased, its use frequency decreased. This could have been caused by several factors: during the signing of the sign outside the port territory, working with the geodesists holding a permit in the port after the creation of a separate network of supporting geodetic signs, tightening the accuracy of geodetic network points and changing the old point classes. The surface of the mark may have been destroyed during the construction of the neighboring apartment buildings and the hailstorm on which the bakers stood. But the sign itself, the structure of its center remained in the depth of the archaeological site.
