Summary / Abstract:

ENMany historians believe that contemporary Lithuania has almost no relation to The Grand Lithuanian Duchy where aristocracy dominated and peasant had no civic rights. However, these arguments can and should be critically challenged. Not only lesser gentry but nobility as well contributed to the development of modern Lithuania. They proved that our history is longer than just the last one hundred years.
