ENAnalyzing gesture phraseology in Lithuanian and Russian was found how emotional states denoted by the words sielvartas and горе are realized in these two languages, it was found that both these languages denote this state as very intensive, referred to speaker himself but illogical, unconscious, useless actions: rautis plaukus, рвать на себе волосы ’tear one’s hair', Analyzing gesture phraseology in Lithuanian and Russian was found how emotional states denoted by the words sielvartas and горе are realized in these two languages, it was found that both these languages denote this state as very intensive, referred to speaker himself but illogical, unconscious, useless actions: rautis plaukus, рвать на себе волосы ’tear one’s hair'.
