ENThe article is dedicated to the consideration of the concept of “imaginary museum“ in the works of the creator of the 20th century Western philosophy of art Andrė Malraux. The main consideration covers art philosophy and specific psychology tendencies in the concept of “imaginary museum” which has silhouetted in the works of this thinker and their influence on various influential art philosophy, aesthetics, art criticism, existential and other trends, schools and persons, which have spread in the second part of the 20th century. Therefore, the concept of “imaginary museum“ and its specific psychological rhetoric has operated by Malraux in the context of art philosophy. In the background of it, Malraux for some reason or other, but mostly for subjective reasons avoids many psychopathological aspects. “The psychopathological turn“ could break his theoretical system of “imaginary museum“ based on the idea of sensible cross-cultural and historical relationships. Consequently, Andrė Malraux’s step to tradition of Western cogitation towards relationships or many different historical and cultural art systems became a powerful lunge to post-modern turn (in a broad sense) of humanistic, art philosophy and aesthetics.
