ENThe article is devoted to the reception of Nietzsche’s rising man conception in Lithuanian interwar period literature, which revealed various reinterpretations of the ideas of this rebellious German thinker. Referring to the comparative analysis of distinctive texts, the particular reception of Nietzsche’s ideas in the creations of three great men of letters (Boruta, Sruoga, Mačernis) is revealed. The author shows that rebellious ideas of Nietzsche adjusted Lithuanian aesthetical thinking, directing it toward modernism. [From the publication]
