Operos bosas: knyga apie operos solistą Vaclovą Daunorą
LTJaunesnioji operos žanro gerbėjų karta (dabartiniai trisdešimtmečiai ir jaunesni) teatre kurtų solisto Vaclovo Daunoro (g. 1936) vaidmenų pamatyti nespėjo ir galbūt net nėra girdėję šio boso gyvai atliekamų arijų, tačiau ar gi įmanoma būti negirdėjus apie jo etaloninį karalių Pilypą II? Todėl, kaip ir tikėtasi, iš šiam operos artistui skirtos knygos „Karalių kuria aplinka“ viršelio į mus žvelgia minėtasis Giuseppe’s Verdi operos „Don Karlas“ herojus. Knygą, sudarytą muzikologės Jūratės Katinaitės, pristato teatrologė Rima Jūraitė.
ENThe younger generation of opera fans (up to the age of 30) have not been able to see the roles played by Vaclovas Daunoras (b. 1936), and perhaps have not even heard him perform any arias live. But is it possible not to have heard of his famous King Philip II, which has turned into a sort of benchmark? Therefore, as expected, from the cover of the book ‘The King is Made by his Surr oundings’, dedicated to the singer, we are greeted by the gaze of the soloist in Giuseppe Verdi’s Don Carlos.
