LTŠiame straipsnyje aptariamos kompiuterinių technologijų panaudojimo galimybės per technologijų pamokas. Apklausti 846 mokiniai ir 30 technologijų dalyko mokytojų. Apklausos rezultatai rodo, kad mokiniai geriau nei mokytojai suvokia informacinių technologijų svarbą šiuolaikinėje visuomenėje, labiau domisi naujomis technologijomis, todėl geriau suvokia esamą situaciją, lengviau orientuojasi informacijos gausoje. Vadinasi, mokytojo vaidmuo modernioje informacinės visuomenės mokykloje turi keistis. Atsiranda poreikis mokytis visą gyvenimą. Į technologijų dalyko programą galima ir būtina įtraukti informacines technologijas, o kompiuterinį išprusimą turintys mokytojai šią galimybę turi sukurti. ENThe aim of the research was to analyze possibilities of using computer technologies in the technologies subject classes. 846 pupils aged from 14 to 17 and 30 teachers of the Technologies subject participated in the research. The research results show that pupils better than teachers understand the importance of informational technologies in the modern society, they take greater interest in new technologies this is why they better understand the current situation, it is easier for them to orientate in the bulk of information. Therefore it means that the role of the teacher in the modern school has to change. The need of lifelong learning occurs. The technologies subject must include informational technologies, whereas teachers who have required skills should create this possibility.
